Nedumchalil Trust Hospital is one of the oldest health care establishments in Muvattupuzha. Established in the year 1957, in 1978, it was converted to a Charitable Trust and expanded to include more facilities and in- patient beds.

The hospital has a 24 hour fully equipped casualty with 24 hour services of in- house doctor, and consultant doctors on call at all times.The Theatre complex is fully equipped to conduct all Gynecological and General surgical procedures and Laproscopic procedures such as Laproscopic sterilisations and diagnostic laproscopies. We are equipped with a labour room and first stage rooms which are of NABH specifications. We are equipped to do Ultrasound scans, Echo cardiograms, and Upper GI Diagnostic endoscopies The Lab is equipped with all modern equipmemts such as a fully automatic Auto Analyser, Semi Auto Analyser, ELISA Reader, Cell counter etc. There is a fully equipped and ably manned Medical ICU The rooms are well furnished , with AC rooms for those who need greater comforts
